Who's behind this site
This site is operated by Tom Bentley, a sole individual based in London, United Kingdom. If you need to contact me about privacy, email hello@tombentley.uk.
Under UK GDPR I am the data controller for any personal information you send through this site.
What I collect, and why
I only collect information that you actively give me:
- Pitch submissions. When you submit a deck via the form on the Submit page, the form is hosted by Airtable and I receive your name, email, company details, links, and anything else you include. I use it to review your pitch and reply to you.
- Direct email. If you email me, I receive your email address, name, and message content. I use it to reply.
I do not run advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics on this site.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted by IONOS. Like any web host, IONOS keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamp) for security and operational reasons. I don't access these logs for marketing purposes.
Who sees your information
Your pitch or message is seen by me. I use the following services to handle it:
- Airtable stores pitch form submissions. See Airtable's privacy policy.
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook) processes inbound email. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
- IONOS hosts the site. See IONOS's privacy policy.
I don't sell your data, trade it, or share it with anyone else without your consent, unless I'm legally required to.
How long I keep it
- Pitch submissions: retained in Airtable for up to 24 months so I can follow up or reference past conversations. After that, I delete or anonymise.
- Email correspondence: retained in my mailbox until it's no longer useful or you ask me to delete it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the information I hold about you
- Correct information that's wrong
- Ask me to delete your information
- Object to how I'm using it
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think I've mishandled your data

Cookies
This site does not set its own cookies or use cookie-based tracking. Embedded third-party content (the Airtable form) may set its own cookies when you interact with it. See Airtable's privacy policy linked above.
International transfers
Airtable is US-based and Microsoft operates globally. When you submit a form or send me email, your information may be transferred outside the UK under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards, as required by UK GDPR.
Changes to this notice
If I change anything material I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes I'll add a visible note on the homepage for a couple of weeks.
